Mrs. Pearl I. Johnson, 97 a resident of the Sunset Nursing Home, Boonville, formerly of West Frankfort passed away on Tuesday March 4, 2008 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Pearl was born in Boonville on July 24, 1910 the daughter of Albert C. and Delia (Briggs) Andrews. On December 14, 1929 Pearl married Clark G. Johnson and blessed union of 45 years until Clark's death in 1974. She was of the Methodist faith. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her three children, Norma McCabe, Remsen, NY, Betty Dean and her husband Frederick, N. Utica and Robert F. Johnson Sr. and his wife Amelia, Brooksville, FL; 14 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Eugene McCabe, great grand daughter, Ashley Dean, three sisters, Erma Grower, Ida Forte and Mildred Duda and seven brothers, Raymond, Howard, James Orin, Frederick, R. Ernest, Charles and Homer Andrews. Mrs. Johnson's funeral will be held on Friday March 7, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica. Interment will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, Utica.
