Obituary of Dominga D. White

     Mrs. Dominga D. White, 81, of N. Utica, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at her home with her loving family by her side.

     Dominga was born in Patillas, Puerto Rico, on September 21, 1941, the daughter of Evangelio and Clotilde (Montanez) Diaz. Dominga was united in marriage with Charles White, Sr., and the couple shared a loving and devoted union of 63 years.  At one time, Dominga was employed as a seamstress with Joseph & Feiss Company and later with Tri-State Industrial Laundry, retiring after many years of dedicated service. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, crocheting and especially sewing. Dominga was a parishioner of St. Joseph & St. Patrick Church in Utica and Historic Old St. John’s Church in Utica.

     Mrs. White is survived by her loving husband, Charles; one daughter, Lisa Darling; two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles, Jr. and Sheila White and Steven and Luann White; 9 cherished grandchildren, Brittany and Chris Grow, Aubrey and Vincent Craft, Taylor White, Chad Darling, Jr., Eric and Nicole White, Cory and Kayla White, Josh and Alyssa Nelson, Zachary and Marcella White and Edward White, as well as multiple brothers and sisters, 15 adored great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

     Visitation for family and friends is Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., N.
