We all know Sheila for all her wonderful achievements with the CSEA Union. But Sheila was also a great librarian and she was known for being a master library cataloger She loved to research questions from patrons in the Law library. She had a following of patrons who only wanted her to work on their projects. She loved to help out the patron students who needed research topics. She would readily go to the Archives Room and research what a law looked like 30 years ago. We all appreciated working with her.
She was great at her job and worked hard to find the right and suitable answer for the patron.
Thank you for all you did for the 5th Judicial District and the Utica Law Library.
May you rest in Peace Sheila.

I have known Sheila for over 40 years. I met her as a new officer in CSEA and then as an employee of the NYS Office of Court Administration working in the Law Library. I retired 17 years ago retiring from USC Oneida County Court and moved away but when I returned to Utica she always made time to meet with the retirees when I returned to town. I will miss a dear friend.
